Hero MotoCorp teased a new version of its favorite Karizma XMR bike. The bike is now named the Karizma XMR Combat Edition, and it features a fresh design, improved features, and a powerful engine. This launch has attracted many bike enthusiasts.
Fresh Design with Militaristic Touch
The Hero Karizma XMR Combat Edition is unique in its design. The bike is painted in matte Shadow Grey with yellow graphics that make it look tough and sporty. It also features gold-colored USD front forks that enhance the premium feel, unlike the typical Karizma XMR. The design is inspired by military styles, making it stand out on the roads.
Enhanced and Additional Features
One of the biggest upgrade prompts in the combat edition is TFT instrument cluster. This improves the standard display of the ordinary Karizma XMR’s digital display. The new screen offers better visibility and important ride details more clearly.
This bike maintains the same particulars as the regular Karizma XMR with respect to the engine. A single cylinder, liquid-cooled 210cc engine powers the bike. It has 25.5 PS of power and 20.4 Nm of torque. The bike is also equipped with a six-speed transmission, in addition to a slip and assist clutch, which helps in the smooth changing of gears aiding the rider in the effort of riding the bike.
Expected Launch and Price
Hero MotoCorp has not yet given out the official launch date or the showroom price of the Karizma XMR Combat Edition but it is assumed that it can be a little higher than the normal one which costs ₹1.73 lakh (ex-showroom). As per additional sources this new edition is expected to come in the upcoming few months as well.
Good Mileage and Smooth Ride
Normal Hero Karizma XMR provides a mileage of about 41.55 km per liter. Given that the bike has a fuel tank of 11 liters, its effective range becomes around 457 kilometers per single tank. The mileage of the combat edition is also anticipated to be the same and therefore is a sensible choice for long distance riding.
Hero Honda Karizma: One of the Most Sought After Names in Indian Motorbikes
The first Hero Honda Karizma was launched in the Indian market back in 2003. Due to its excellent 223cc engine, sharp looks, and effortless riding, it quickly rose in popularity. The earlier model Karizmas had a mileage of around 40 kilometers per liter, which was pretty good. Even today, many old Karizma riders still love the bike and do a lot of modification work to it to enhance the performance and aesthetics.
The Hero Karizma XMR Combat Edition certainly looks brand new, but it is the same famous bike Karizma. Its strong new engine combined with modern features and aesthetics guarantees it will be a hit with bike enthusiasts. While everyone is very eager to see the new bike on the roads, we shall have to wait for Hero Moto Corp to inform us about the price and launch date.
